The AirPura UV600 air purifier is a powerful air purifier with HEPA air filter
technology and UV lamp technology. The UV germicidal lamp sterilizes
antigens, pathogens and mold spores as they are trapped on the filters.
This air purifier will clean up to 2000 square feet of air while exchanging the
entire room’s air up to four times per hour. The HEPA filter will catch
even the finest particles of dust mites, pollen, mold spores, skin
cells, and pet dander normally found in most indoor air. The HEPA
filter is designed to last up to 5 years. The AirPura unit boasts a strong 560
CFM (cubic feet per minute) fan that has been designed for low noise
operation. This fan also has a variable speed motor that you can adjust
for the room size or your comfort level. The AirPura line of air
purifiers will reduce or eliminate the frequency of dusting, ease those
with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities, and improve your indoor air
quality.
The AirPura UV600 air purifier adds an industry leading sized
UV lamp that is 17 inches long. This germ killing lamp will eliminate
the pathogens from continuing to germinate within the filters. The
UV600 still includes 18 pounds of carbon filtration for those airborne
chemicals from adhesives, pesticides, methylene chloride, mold
mycotoxins, and perchloroethylene. The activated carbon has an
extremely high absorption rate which captures these chemical molecules.
These air purifiers use ground up carbon so there is more surface area
for the chemicals to reach and stick to. The capture of these chemicals
will reduce skin, eye, and throat irritations as well as fight against
disease and airborne viruses. The carbon filters should last up to 2
years. The unit includes a pre-filter as well to eliminate larger
particles before they enter the inner filtration of the HEPA and
carbon. These pre-filters can be cleaned with a vacuum from the outside
of the unit and should be replaced about every 3 to 6 months depending
upon use.
