The Coyuchi organic cotton sateen sheet sets are designed for simplicity and include the silky softness you are accustomed to with this line. The sateen fabric has a unique feel because of its special weave pattern. One side is so smooth you would assume it is silk while the other side is a cotton soft matte finish. This organic cotton sheet set is extremely durable and beautiful all together. The fabric is woven from hand-picked 100% certified organic cotton farmed under fair-trade conditions. The dyes used for all sheets by Coyuchi are low-impact fiber reactive dyes, while the ivory color is naturally derived and the white fabric is made using only hydrogen peroxide. The result is an environmentally friendly fabric that has been farmed, woven, and packaged for you without the use of any dangerous chemicals.

About Coyuchi:

The cotton farmed for Coyuchi’s fabrics is certified by Quality Assurance International and produced with the least environmental impact.  It is hand raised and picked by small family farms which are certified for fair-trade and members of the Chetna Organic Farming Association.  These farmers are paid about 50% more than they would earn producing chemically grown cotton.  The growers and handlers must meet rigorous performance criteria in the following areas before being awarded the Organic certification:

• sustainable farming techniques
• prohibits the use of toxic and persistent chemicals
• ecosystem protection
• conserve biodiversity
• maintain environmental quality
