The organic cotton fabric uses a twill weave with a no-dobby border for ultimate softness. The fabric is woven from hand-picked 100% certified organic cotton farmed under fair-trade conditions. The dyes used for all fabrics by Coyuchi are low-impact fiber reactive dyes, while the ivory color is naturally derived and the white fabric is made using only hydrogen peroxide. The result is an environmentally friendly fabric that has been farmed, woven, and packaged for you without the use of any dangerous chemicals.

The cotton farmed for Coyuchi’s fabrics is certified by Quality Assurance International and produced with the least environmental impact. It is hand raised and picked by small family farms which are certified for fair-trade and members of the Chetna Organic Farming Association. These farmers are paid about 50% more than they would earn producing chemically grown cotton.  The growers and handlers must meet rigorous performance criteria in the following areas before being awarded the Organic certification:

• conserve biodiversity
