I ordered a hooded, zippered organic cotton sweatshirt
from TuwA recently, and have been very pleased with it!The cotton is so soft and comfortable, and
the construction of the sweatshirt is excellent.I spend a lot of time outside hiking and
kayaking, so I usually rip sweatshirts quickly, but this one is holding
together through everything!

Miami, Florida - May 5th, 2009 To Whom It May Concern: I came across tuwa.com in early April after doing a Google search for eco-friendly patio furniture. My wife and I were planning on renovating our back patio in preparation for a large party we were planning for my daughter’s fifth birthday at the end of April and we wanted to get new patio furniture that was environmentally friendly. I found a great patio set from Eagle One made out of recycled plastic milk jugs. I then embarked on a mission to find the best website to order it from. That is how I discovered tuwa.com.
Tuwa.com had the Eagle One furniture for a competitive price, but I was most intrigued by the carbon offsetting and eco-conscious shipping that the website offered. Every website that carried this furniture indicated that it takes 2-3 weeks to ship out from the factory, so I called up Tuwa customer service to find out if there was any way to speed up that process so that we would receive the furniture in time for our party on April 25, 2009.
Seeing as the furniture was going to cost me over $2600, I felt it was important to support a company like Tuwa, rather than some other generic website. Upon speaking with a Tuwa representative name Mathew, I immediately knew that I had made the right decision. I explained to him how the party was just over three weeks away and that I wanted to ensure the furniture would arrive before then. Mathew told me he would call the manufacturer right away and get back to me with an answer.
Later that day, Mathew called me back and told me he thought he could make it happen. He made special arrangements with the manufacturer to ship the furniture by a certain date so that it would arrive on time. He also assured me that he would call the manufacturer multiple times to ensure that things were going according to plan.
Mathew called and emailed me multiple times to keep me apprised of the situation. It looked like things were on track until about a week before the party, when the manufacturer delayed the shipment a few days beyond the date they originally agreed to send it out. Mathew then spent countless hours on the phone with the trucking company trying to arrange for the shipment to arrive by Friday, April 24th – one day before the party. When informed that the truck would get to Miami on Friday afternoon, Mathew called me again to explain what was happening.
He told me that while the furniture would arrive at the warehouse on Friday, the shipping company did not have a truck available to send it to my house that evening and that they would have to send it to me on Monday. Knowing how important it was to me to get the furniture on Friday, Mathew then made additional calls to the shipping company to arrange for me to be able to pick it up from the warehouse that evening. He actually convinced the shipping company to unload this massive package from their truck and stay open late enough for me to come pick it up after work.
Luckily, I was able to arrange for someone to help me go pick up the furniture that afternoon, and I was able to get it set up later that night just in time for the party the next day. If it wasn’t for Mathew, I would have never received the shipment on time. Thanks to Tuwa and Mathew, I now have an amazing recycled plastic patio furniture set that we were able to use and enjoy during my daughter’s birthday party.
Needless to say, Mathew’s customer service has earned Tuwa a customer for life. I have never felt happier about spending so much money!
